The Pullman Greyhound Boys basketball team cruised past the West Valley Eagles on Saturday, January 28th. The game looked to be a blowout from the start, with the Hounds scoring a whopping 17 points in the first quarter, while conceding only 4. The second quarter also favored the Hounds, as they conceded only 10 points while scoring 13 of their own. West Valley improved their performance in the second half, matching or beating the Hounds scores in both quarters. It was not enough however, and the Hounds took a comfortable 61-46 win off their first half success. When asked about what he thought of the team's performance senior Jake Cillay said that "We struggled a bit in the second half but I'm proud of the team for closing out the game."
