Hounds Look to Improve at Home
The Pullman High School track and field team began its 2014 season on Saturday, March 22ndas the varsity athletes traveled to Lewiston while the JV team competed in Lapwai. The hounds placed 3rdas a team at Lewiston thanks to several standouts such as Kosey Smith, John Landers, Amelia Galloway, and Angel Nkwonta. Coming up this Thursday, Clarkston and Logos will come to Pullman to compete in the first home meet of the season. Most of the hounds look to continue to sharpen their skills in their second meet while a few individuals will try to improve on marks which were considered impressive for this early in the season. The meet is set to start at 4:00 on Thursday, however the hounds will have to deal with unfavorable weather conditions as there is a chance of rain and a high temperature of 46.
