Pullman stepped up in their biggest game of the year - so far. In their second matchup with Cheney, the Hounds came out on top after a hard-fought game. On a broken play, freshman Sam Tingstad scored Pullman's only goal in regulation with a left-footed volley in the 12th minute. Despite gaining momentum from the goal, Pullman was unable to score again in the half. With only three minutes left in the first half, Cheney star Kelby Holland scored a beautiful goal from 25 yards out to equalize the score going into half. Neither team was able to score in the second half, despite plenty of great opportunities for the Hounds. After failing to score in overtime, Pullman was able to get the victory in Penalty Kicks after a great save by Graham Laird to win the shootout 4-2.
