Pullman went up to Cheney on Saturday looking for a win in their first league game. The Cheney home field has always been a tough place to win at for the greyhounds as they had only won once during regulation on that field. After last year’s four game four penalty shoot outs against Cheney, Pullman was looking to win in regulation. The game started off in Pullmans favor having almost four one on ones with the keeper in the first 20 minutes, but unfortunately no goal. The game progressed into the second half where four minutes in, Sam Fix of Cheney ripped a shot 35 yards and it flew into the back of the net. The Greyhounds rallied back in the 64th minute where Kaden Hildenbrand, who got taken out of the game due to a groin injury, crossed a ball to Sam Tingstad where he put it into the back of the net to tie the game up. As the game was coming to a close it became very frantic. Pullman put on the pressure and in the 80th minute, Pullman midfielder Sebastien Lewis, shot a left footed shot into the bottom left hand corner of the goal to win the game. Pullman leads the league with three points and will face East Valley on Tuesday at 4:00 P.M.
Sam Fix scored the first goal of the game and the Greyhounds defeated the Blackhawks.
