Pullman score late against Clarkston

Saturday, March 24th the undefeated hound’s boys’ soccer team traveled down to Clarkston. The mid-day game went back and forth between the two top teams in the Great Northern league. Clarkston’s Theo’s Baiye was their main offence scoring four goals already in league, but Theo was no match for the reining defensive MVP Jared Holdstad, holding the offensive powerhouse to no goals. The relatively slow and physical game got determined with pop fly ball inside Clarkston’s goalie box, sophomore forward Sam Tingstad leaped for the out of control ball deflecting it off his foot, resulting in a goal in the 75th minute. The 1-0 win for the Greyhounds places them top in league. The hounds next game will be Tuesday, March 27th against West Valley Spokane at the Windy Gulch.
