This last weekend Junior Taylor McCoy swam a 2:15.58 in the 200m Backstroke at Nationals in Federal Way, Washington. With a time of 2:15.58 McCoy qualifies to race at the Olympic Trails at the end of june in Omaha, Nebraska. In November, McCoy defended her two individual state championships for the second straight year.
McCoy and the Hounds finish state strong
Pullman High School athlete Taylor McCoy had another spectacular performance at state this year. She is the state champion in the 200 IM, with the time of 2:07.82, and the 100 backstroke, with a time of 56.45. She is now the state champion in these two events for the third year in a row. Taylor's performance earned her the honors of "2A Swimmer of the Meet", and her time in the 100 backstroke has earned her All-American consideration. The rest of the Hounds had great performances as well. The 400 freestyle relay team, 200 medely relay team, and Caroline Brock in the 500 freestyle all placed top ten. Congratulations to the Pullman High School Girls' Swim Team for a great season.

Girls' Swim State
The Girls' swim season is coming to an end but not without one final competition. The state qualifiers from the Pullman High School Girls' Swim Team will be traveling to Federal Way to represent the Greyhounds at the state competition on October 12th. Swimmers Taylor McCoy and Caroline Brock will compete in their individual events. McCoy will be participating in the 200 freestyle, 200 IM, 100 backstroke, and 100 breaststroke. Brock will be participating in the 500 freestyle. Alongside these individual events, two relay teams from from the Girls' Swim Team will also be representing Pullman High School. The relay team of Taylor McCoy, Isobel Gleason, Emma Horstkamp, and Caroline Brock will be participating in the 200 medely relay and the relay team of Taylor McCoy, Isobel Gleason, Adeline Thayer, and Caroline Brock will be participating in the 400 freestyle relay.
