Pullman vs Black Hills

Saturday, September 22nd the Pullman football team bused west to Tumwater, Washington for a non-league match against the Black Hill Wolves. Pullman and Black Hills both entered the game 3-0. As rain poured down pre-game, the two teams were ready for a dog fight. Pullman struggled out of the gate, giving up two fumbles on their first two possessions, while Black Hills capitalized scoring on their first possession, making it a quick 7-0. As the game persisted, Pullman’s struggles continued. Senior Konner Kincade threw three interceptions while difficulties moving the ball on offense were apparent throughout the game. The ending score was Black Hills-38, Pullman-13, with Senior James Pitzer and Junior Sam Tingstad scoring the only points for Pullman. The Greyhounds will travel north to East Valley, Spokane on Friday, September 28th for their first league game.
