Last Friday night, the Pullman Greyhounds shutout the Cheney Blackhawks 15-0. The game was very uneventful in a scoring sense. Trey Lopes and Grant Druffel were the players who had the only touchdown catches, which came in the first quarter. The only other source of points came from an unexpected safety caused by Cruz Meines in the third quarter. The Blackhawks had a very hard time marching down the field, and were unable to adjust to the muddy and rainy conditions. When they were able to get near the red zone, the defense went on lock down. The Hounds defense held the Blackhawks to only seven yard rushing on the night. The Greyhounds next game is this Friday October 28th, at East Valley Spokane.
