Friday October 19th the Pullman Greyhounds were looking to bounce back from the harsh loss last week against the West Valley Eagles. Going into this non-league match up against the Othello Huskies, Pullman wanted to make a statement. That they could stop the run game. Othello’s first possession would create the environment for the Hounds all game. Pullman’s starting linebackers of Konner Kinkade, Dylan Hodge, Henry Perkins, and Connor Coulter made big starting tackles to hold the Huskies to a quick three and out. As the game progressed the defense held strong limiting Othello to zero points in the first half. 21-0 going into the second half it was looking like the Hounds were going to shut of the Huskies. As the Huskies pounded the ball on the ground, the Hounds defense got scored on resulting in a 28-7 lead going into the fourth quarter. As both teams fought the hounds held strong in the end with an ending score of 35-14. The Hounds will be hosting the Cheney Blackhawks this Friday to see who moves on to the cross-over game.
